I. General Introduction of Pendulum Type Ring Roll Mill
Also known as overhang roll mill or Raymond mill, the pendulum type ring roll mill combines roll grinding and pneumatic filtering and conveying. Pendulum type ring roll mill is versatile mill, its advantages are: dry type continuous powder making, even granularity, granularity adjustable, impact structure and etc. Discharging size can be adjusted between 0.125mm and 0.044mm. II. Application of Pendulum Type Ring Roll Mill
Pendulum type ring roll mill can be widely used for grinding, the usage as follow: (1) clay grade: clay, porcelain clay, clay bentonitic, magnesia, china clay, bauxite and so on. (2) non-metallic ore: gypsum, steatite, graphite, fluorite, calcite, limestone, barite, phosphorite, grammite, feldspar, quartz and etc. (3) metal oxide grade: ferriferous manganese ore, chromite, ilmenite, bauxite and so on. (4) chemical engineering composition: charred coal, lime cinder, smelting cinder, barium sulphate and so on. (5) others: pendulum type ring roll mill can be used for many other industries like powdered magnesium used for flame retardant coating of blast furnace in metallurgy industry, barite powder used for seal of wells in petroleum exploration, bentonite powder used for lubricating of drill will, bulking agent used for chemical industries, raw materials processing in construction. (6) pendulum type ring roll mill is suitable for grinding of non-flame and non-explosive materials with mohs hardness less than 7 and moisture less than 6%.
III. Working Principle of Pendulum Type Ring Roll Mill
Crush materials into desired fineness by jaw crusher and then send materials to the storage bin by bucket elevator. Send materials to the mill body evenly and continuously by the electromagnetic vibrating feeder for the grinding. When materials reach a certain fineness, they will be brought to the big cyclone separator by airflow, after separating, qualified materials are discharged from the discharging pipe. Airflow goes into the blower fan through the air return pipe on top of the big cyclone separator. The whole airflow is in a closed-circuit and in negative pressure. Moisture in materials vaporize and each flange are not fully airproof, which is the main reason of increase of air volume in the circuit, this kind of air volume can be guided into the small cyclone separator through the redundant wind pipe between the blower fan and main body. The small cyclone separator separates materials and discharges them through the discharging pipe; air is sent to atmosphere by the vent-pipe on top of the cyclone separator.
